UPDATE – Monday 23rd of March
It is with a very heavy heart that I have to share that from today I shall be temporarily closed.
As the current health crisis continues to get worse, I feel a moral obligation to do my bit and follow Government advice to close. Not only for the health of myself and my family, but also my lovely clients.
Being self employed and running a business is more that just a job or an income, it’s a passion. Nine years of hard work, dedication, and determination is what has gone into building my business to be what it is today, so please know this was not a decision I made lightly.
I have already personally spoken to all clients booked in this week and will start on next weeks clients soon. Needless to say all booked in clients will be at the top of my priority list to reschedule in as soon as I’m able to. There’s a lot of you to speak to so please bear with me!
Not only do I love what I do but I love all my clients. Those who have been with me from the start and those who may be relatively new, I value each and every one of you and always enjoy our catch ups and laughs, so I will miss you!!
Trying to put a positive spin on this horrible situation, I shall be spending these days, weeks, however long it may be, to further build Yasmin King Beauty Works. I’m planning on giving my studio a little spruce up, thinking of new exciting treatments and ideas, having time to post more on social media (make sure you give me a follow) and I may even finally have the time to master Russian Volume Lashes!
To all the enquires I have received from new clients seeking alternative salons as theirs also close, no I shall not be taking any appointments from new clients and seriously ask you to realise that your salon has closed for good reason and to stay loyal to your salon, it’s the only way we shall all survive this!
I hope you all stay healthy and well and I look forward to seeing you in happier times. Needless to say some celebratory special offers will be needed!

Dear Clients,
I have been so touched to receive so many messages of concern since the latest Government advice announcement yesterday. So much so that I wanted to touch base and reassure you that I am taking all possible precautions to keep us all safe at this very unsettling time.
Until further updates are released it’s business as usual here with the addition of certain hygiene measures.
These measures include:
– I shall be asking all clients to wash their hands upon arrival and in accordance to the WHO hand washing guidelines.
– All disposable working tools will be, as always, disposed of after every use.
– All tools will be sterilized after use and then stored in hospital grade disinfectant, Barbicide.
– All surfaces are sprayed with an antibacterial surface disinfectant between each client.
– Gloves will be worn by myself where possible.
I also ask everyone to take their own responsibilities seriously. If you have been feeling unwell, have recently developed a new cough, fever or any signs of an underlying health issue, or have been around anyone unwell, please let me know and we can reschedule your appointment to a time when you are feeling well. If you turn up to your appointment and it becomes apparent to me you may not be well, I shall be asking you to reschedule.
To enable me to continue looking after my existing clients and myself I shall not be taking any new clients on at this time.
I will be continually monitoring the Government advice and keep you updated on any updates that I need to take.
